# OwlyFinds > OwlyFinds is a UK tech price comparison site. Paste a product link or type a product name and it lists every price it holds for that product across twelve UK shops, new, refurbished, open box and second hand kept apart, cheapest in-stock price first, with when each price was read on the shop page. Prices are in pounds sterling and the dates are day/month/year. Shops compared: Amazon UK, AO, Currys, John Lewis, Argos, Back Market, musicMagpie, eBay UK, refurbed, Gadcet, A1 Tech Deals and MicroDream. A product page shows the cheapest new and refurbished price with its shop and read time, a 30 and 90 day price history, the 30-day low, and the guides that mention the product. A price older than its shop limit is withheld rather than shown. ## Key pages - [Home](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/): compare a product by link or name; what Owly found today; this week's price drops - [Price drops this week](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/price-drops): the biggest falls in the cheapest UK price over seven days, new and refurbished (feed: https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/price-drops/feed.xml) - [Refurbished tech prices](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/refurbished): every product with a refurbished price in stock, with the saving against new - [Retailers](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/retailers): the shops compared and the guides about each - [How it works](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/learn): what happens when a link is pasted, and how conditions are graded - [About](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/about): who runs the site - [Guides](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog): buying guides with live UK prices (feed: https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/feed.xml) - Sitemap: https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/sitemap.xml ## Brand hubs - [Apple](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/apple): 49 products compared - [Samsung](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/samsung): 42 products compared - [Google](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/google): 11 products compared - [Sony](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/sony): 10 products compared - [Amazon](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/amazon): 5 products compared - [Bose](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/bose): 3 products compared - [DJI](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/dji): 3 products compared - [Garmin](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/garmin): 3 products compared - [Logitech](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/logitech): 3 products compared - [Meta](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/meta): 3 products compared - [Microsoft](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/microsoft): 3 products compared - [Nintendo](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/brand/nintendo): 2 products compared ## Guides - [Currys Clearance on eBay: what it sells, what the grades mean, and is it cheaper than Currys?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/currys-clearance-on-ebay): Currys Clearance is Currys Group Limited selling on eBay as currys_clearance since April 2019, with 99.1% positive feedback from 529,000 sales on 29/10/2026. Its Grade A to C refurbished phones carry a 12-month Currys Clearance warranty and 30 days' returns, and on 29/10/2026 a Good iPhone 16, 16e or 15 cost £176.70 to £306.49 less than the same phone new at Currys. Its Opened, never used stock sat within £45 of Currys' new price, and a Grade C iPhone 14 cost more than Currys' own refurbished one. - [Is Gadcet legit? What its reviews say, its grades, and where it is cheapest](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-gadcet-legit): Yes. Gadcet is Gadstore Limited, a Romford company registered since July 2020, and every item carries a 12-month warranty and 30-day returns, used stock included. On 29/10/2026 it had 4.4 from 4,368 reviews on Trustpilot. It is a marketplace of several sellers, it beat Amazon and the shops on refurbished AirPods Max and iPad, and an eBay seller was cheaper on most of the rest. - [Cheapest Xbox Series X in the UK today, and the Series S beside it](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/cheapest-xbox-series-x-uk-today): On 28/10/2026 the cheapest new Xbox Series X with a disc drive was £669 at Currys, against £669.99 at Microsoft and Argos, and no eBay seller with a track record sold one for less. The Series S 1TB was £519 at Argos and Currys, or £435.10 new on eBay from a private seller. - [Refurbished Samsung phones in the UK: which Galaxy is worth buying refurbished?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-samsung-phones-uk-which-galaxy-is-worth-it): On 28/10/2026 a refurbished Galaxy saved £71.49 to £200.99 against the cheapest new one. The S24 128GB was the cheapest good buy at £249.95 in Good, £148.05 under a refurbished S25, and the S24 Ultra saved the most. Samsung's own Certified Re-Newed S25 cost more than a new one elsewhere. - [Cheapest Nintendo Switch 2 in the UK today, new and refurbished](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/cheapest-nintendo-switch-2-uk-today): On 27/10/2026 the cheapest new Nintendo Switch 2 was £338.90 on eBay with postage from a private seller, and at a shop £389 at Gadcet and £389.99 at Argos, against £419.99 at Nintendo. Refurbished cost £390 or more, so it saved nothing that day, and every bundle cost more than the console alone. - [iPhone 17 price in the UK: every model, and the cheapest today](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/iphone-17-price-uk-cheapest-today): On 27/10/2026 Apple sold the iPhone 17 at £899 for 256GB and £1,099 for 512GB, and Argos and Currys matched it. The cheapest new one was £651.05 on eBay from a private seller, and a refurbished one in Very Good was £649.99. Apple no longer sells the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max; the shops had them at £999 and £1,099. - [Cheapest iPad in the UK today: every model, new and refurbished](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/cheapest-ipad-uk-today): On 26/10/2026 the cheapest current iPad was the iPad (A16) 128GB at £376.65 new on eBay with postage, or £407.99 at A1 Tech Deals and £409.97 at Amazon, against £429 at Apple. What its reviews say and where it is cheapest](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-a1-tech-deals-legit): Yes. A1 Tech Deals is run by Omnibytes Ltd, a Manchester company registered since 2019, and every item carries a 12-month warranty and free 30-day returns. On 26/10/2026 it had 4.7 from 17,790 reviews on Trustpilot, and it was cheaper than Amazon and Currys on all seven products we checked, though an eBay seller beat it on two. - [Cheapest PS5 in the UK today: Digital, Slim and Pro](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/cheapest-ps5-uk-today): On 25/10/2026 the cheapest new PS5 Digital was £475.90 on eBay from a private seller, against £519.99 at Argos; the disc Slim £547.30 on eBay against £569 at Currys; and the PS5 Pro £789.99 at Argos, the only shop we compare with it in stock. Refurbished was dearer than new on the Digital that day. - [Is the iPhone Duo in stock in the UK, and what does it cost?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-the-iphone-duo-in-stock-uk): Not at the shops: on 25/10/2026 Argos, Currys and John Lewis had the iPhone Duo out of stock at £1,999, Amazon was taking orders without a delivery date, and John Lewis said it will be available to buy from 27 November 2026. Apple was taking orders at £1,999 to £3,199. On eBay it cost £300 or more over Apple's price. - [Cheapest iPhone 16 in the UK today, new and refurbished](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/cheapest-iphone-16-uk-today): On 24/10/2026 the cheapest new iPhone 16 128GB was £562.60 on eBay from a private seller, against £799 at Apple, Argos, Currys and John Lewis, and the cheapest refurbished one was £449 at Back Market. No shop had the 256GB new in stock; refurbished it started at £489. - [Is Amazon Renewed any good? Where it beats Back Market, and where it does not](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-amazon-renewed-any-good): For the cover, yes: Amazon Renewed gives a one-year replacement-or-refund guarantee and sets battery minimums by grade. For the price, often no: on 24/10/2026 Back Market was cheaper on six of the eight products we read, and Amazon's featured Renewed offer was often well above other Renewed sellers on the same page. - [Is eBay cheaper than Amazon and the shops for tech? We checked 74 products](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-ebay-cheaper-than-amazon-and-the-shops-for-tech): Often, for new tech: on 24/10/2026 eBay had the lowest new price on 41 of 68 comparing pages, a median £50 under the next shop, and the lowest refurbished price on 31 of 62, a median £18.01 under. Most of the cheapest new listings came from private sellers, so read the seller before the price. - [Refurbished AirPods: which model is worth buying refurbished?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-airpods-uk-which-model-is-worth-it): For most AirPods, barely. On 22/10/2026 a refurbished AirPods Max (USB-C) was £137 under new, but the AirPods Pro 3 saved £27.69, the Pro 2 £7.50 and the 4 with noise cancellation £37.01, and a refurbished AirPods Max 2 cost more than a new pair on eBay. - [Refurbished iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max: is it worth it in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-iphone-16-pro-uk-is-it-worth-it): Yes, if you want a Pro for less: on 21/10/2026 a refurbished iPhone 16 Pro 256GB cost from £555, £444 under a new iPhone 17 Pro 256GB at Argos, and a 16 Pro Max 512GB from £726, £393 under Apple's own refurbished one. No shop sold the 16 Pro new. - [Refurbished Xbox Series X or Series S: is it worth it in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-xbox-series-x-or-series-s-uk-is-it-worth-it): Sometimes. On 21/10/2026 Microsoft's own refurbished Series S 1TB was £419.99, £99.01 under new, and a refurbished Series S 512GB on eBay £129.05 under. A refurbished Series X saved less: £599 at Amazon Renewed, £70 under £669 new, read again on 22/10/2026. - [Does John Lewis price match? What it matches, and how to claim](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/does-john-lewis-price-match): Yes. John Lewis matches the price of 25 named retailers, Currys, Argos, AO and Amazon (electricals Amazon sells itself) among them, for up to 7 days after you order (read on 20/10/2026). It will not match Apple products sold by anyone but Apple, refurbished products or marketplace sellers, and on 20/10/2026 it already charged the same as Currys and Argos on almost every product we compare. - [Second hand PS5: what it costs in the UK, and what to check](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/second-hand-ps5-uk-what-it-costs-and-what-to-check): On 20/10/2026 a used PS5 Slim on eBay cost £439.99 to £495.95 for the disc model and £390 to £414.70 for the Digital Edition, about £115 to £130 under new. A used PS5 Pro saved only about £30. Refurbished saved nothing that day: every refurbished console in stock cost about the same as new or more. - [Does Argos price match? And does Amazon?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/does-argos-price-match): No. Argos says it does not price match, online or in store, and Amazon says it does not offer price matching compensation (both read on 19/10/2026). Currys and John Lewis do match, with conditions, so a lower Argos or Amazon price is one you can take to them. - [Refurbished iPad: is it worth it, and where to buy one in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-ipad-uk-is-it-worth-it): It depends on the model. On 19/10/2026 a refurbished iPad mini (A17 Pro) cost £392 against £594.66 new, and an 11-inch iPad Pro (M4) £770 against £1,199 for the new M5. On 15/10/2026 the cheapest new console from a shop that plays it was the Xbox Series S 1TB at £519, the PS5 with a disc drive was £569, and neither Sony nor the shops sold a GTA 6 bundle. - [Refurbished iPhone 14: is it worth it in 2026, and where to buy one?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-iphone-14-uk-is-it-worth-it): For a cheap iPhone that still gets Apple's latest software, yes: on 14/10/2026 a refurbished 128GB iPhone 14 cost £234.99 to £266 at eBay and Back Market, £110 less than a refurbished iPhone 15 and £364 less than a new iPhone 16e. It runs iOS 27, but not Apple Intelligence. - [Refurbished iPhone 16: is it worth it, and where to buy one in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-iphone-16-uk-is-it-worth-it): Yes, if you want the iPhone 16 for less: on 13/10/2026 a refurbished 128GB cost £479 to £507 at eBay and Back Market against £799 new, with a warranty or 30 days' returns. Apple's own refurbished one was £659. A refurbished 16 also cost £120 less than a new iPhone 16e. - [Refurbished iPhone 15: is it worth it, and where to buy one in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-iphone-15-uk-is-it-worth-it): Yes, for most people: on 12/10/2026 a refurbished 128GB iPhone 15 graded Good cost £340 to £360 at Back Market, eBay and musicMagpie, about half the £699 the shops charge new, with a 12-month warranty. For 256GB, check new first: Argos sold it at £699, the same as the 128GB. - [Amazon vs Argos: which is better for tech in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/amazon-vs-argos-which-is-better-for-tech): On price, Amazon: on 11/10/2026 it was cheaper on five of eight products when it sold them itself (the Pixel 10 Pro by £320) and the same on three. Argos wins if you want to collect today or return in a shop, and its Christmas returns run to 31/01/2027. Neither price matches. - [PS5 refurbished: is it worth it, and where to buy one in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-ps5-uk-is-it-worth-it): Not today. On 18/10/2026 Sony's Certified Refurbished consoles (£479.99 with a disc drive, £429.99 without, about £90 under new) were all out of stock, the cheapest refurbished Slim on eBay cost £598.89 against £569 new at Currys, and the only clear saving was a 2020 PS5 graded Good at £439.99 on eBay. - [AirPods prices in the UK: what each model costs now](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/airpods-prices-uk-what-each-model-costs): On 09/10/2026 Apple sold the AirPods 5 from £119, the AirPods Pro 3 at £219 and the AirPods Max 2 at £499, and Argos, Currys and John Lewis charged the same. The savings were Amazon's AirPods Pro 3 at £200, the older AirPods 4 at £99, which Apple no longer sells, and refurbished pairs. - [Is musicMagpie any good? Warranty, grades and prices](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-musicmagpie-any-good): Yes. musicMagpie refurbishes and sells its own phones, with a free 12-month warranty from the day you order, at least 80% battery health and free returns within 14 days. Good is its lowest grade and shows wear, and the warranty does not cover screen damage or dead pixels, so check the screen as soon as the phone arrives. - [Google Pixel 10 prices in the UK: what each model costs now](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/pixel-10-prices-uk-what-each-model-costs): On 08/10/2026 Google sold the Pixel 10 from £699, but every shop we compare charged less: £599 for the 128GB at Amazon, Argos, Currys and John Lewis, and Amazon had the Pixel 10 Pro 128GB at £579, £20 under the Pixel 10. Since our first read on 09/09/2026, the shops' Pixel 10 price has gone up £50, not down. - [Galaxy S25 prices in the UK: what each model costs now](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/galaxy-s25-prices-uk-what-each-model-costs): On 07/10/2026 Samsung sold the Galaxy S25 from £799 and the S25 Ultra from £1,249, and the big shops charged the same or a little less. The shops matched or came within a pound, with two exceptions at John Lewis: the Digital Edition at £584.99 and the 512GB Series S at £399.99. - [PS5 prices in the UK: what each console costs now](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/ps5-prices-uk-what-each-console-costs): Sony's prices since 02/04/2026 are £569.99 for the PS5 with a disc drive, £519.99 for the Digital Edition and £789.99 for the PS5 Pro, and on 05/10/2026 the big shops charged the same or 99p less. The real savings that day were Sony's own: its EA SPORTS FC 26 bundles at £90 under the console alone, and its Certified Refurbished Slims from £429.99. - [iPhone prices in the UK: what each model costs now](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/iphone-prices-uk-what-each-model-costs): The cheapest iPhone Apple sells is the iPhone 17e at £699, and on 04/10/2026 the shops charged Apple's price for every current iPhone they sold but one: the iPhone Air, £1,099 at Apple and £799 at Amazon, Argos and Currys. The cheapest new iPhone in the shops was the iPhone 16e at £599, a model Apple no longer sells. - [Refurbished iPhone Air UK: where to buy it and what it costs](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-iphone-air-uk): You can buy a refurbished iPhone Air now from musicMagpie, Back Market, Amazon Renewed and eBay, though not from Apple's own refurbished store. On 03/10/2026 the cheapest 256GB was £619.99, £179.01 under the £799 the big shops charge new, and the shops' price had not moved since 09/09/2026. - [Is Back Market legit? Are its phones any good?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-back-market-legit): Yes. Back Market is a marketplace of refurbishers it vets, and every phone comes with a 12-month warranty from the seller, 30 days of free returns and a battery at 80% or better. The catches: the refurbisher, not Back Market, is the seller, only Premium promises genuine parts, and a fee of up to 2% is added at checkout. - [Is it safe to buy a phone or console on eBay? How OwlyFinds picks the listings it shows](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-it-safe-to-buy-tech-on-ebay): It can be, if the seller has a long record, you pay through eBay's checkout and the listing says plainly what you get. OwlyFinds only shows Buy It Now listings from sellers with 50 or more ratings and 98% positive, and refuses damaged, locked, mismatched and implausibly priced ones, but you still read the listing before you pay. - [Xbox Series X or Series S: do you still need the disc drive?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/xbox-series-x-or-series-s-do-you-need-the-disc-drive): If you buy games on disc, yes: on Microsoft's terms you need a console with a drive to claim a digital licence, and the licence lasts only while you keep the disc. On 02/10/2026 the Series X with a drive was £669.90 at John Lewis, about £85 more than its Digital Edition, and the Series S 1 TB £519 at Currys. - [Is the PS5 Pro in stock in the UK, and what does it cost today?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-the-ps5-pro-in-stock-uk): At Argos only: on 14/10/2026 Argos had it at £789.99, Sony's own price since 02/04/2026. Currys (£789) and John Lewis (£789.99) were out of stock online, Sony's store showed it not available, and Amazon sold none itself, with marketplace sellers from £1,098. The lottery in the news is for Japan only. - [Amazon vs Currys: which is better for tech in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-amazon-cheaper-than-currys): For most phones, neither is cheaper: on 10/10/2026 five of eight products cost the same at both. Amazon was cheaper when it sold the item itself (the Pixel 10 Pro by £320), Currys when Amazon had no stock of its own (the PS5). Currys collects in an hour and will match Amazon's own price; Amazon matches no one. - [iPad prices in the UK: what each model costs now](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/ipad-prices-uk-what-each-model-costs): The cheapest new iPad is the iPad (A16) at £429 and the 11-inch iPad Pro (M5) starts at £1,199; on 02/10/2026 Currys, John Lewis and Argos charged Apple's price for each of the four iPads. Buy the Air for the bigger, lighter phone; pay the extra £100 for the iPhone 17 if you want the ultra wide camera, longer battery life and a SIM slot. - [Is John Lewis cheaper than Currys?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-john-lewis-cheaper-than-currys): Rarely, and rarely dearer: of the six products both had in stock new on 30/09/2026, five cost the same and Currys was 99p cheaper on the sixth. At the same price John Lewis includes a two-year guarantee where Currys lists the maker's one year, and the lowest new price was at neither shop. - [Back Market vs Amazon Renewed: which is cheaper?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/back-market-vs-amazon-renewed): Back Market was cheaper on 8 of the 11 refurbished phones both sold on 17/09/2026, by up to £182.74, and Amazon Renewed on the other 3. Both put a year of cover behind the phone, so compare the same grade at both, and check the new price before you buy. - [PS5 vs PS5 Pro: is the Pro worth it in the UK?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/ps5-vs-ps5-pro-is-the-pro-worth-it): The PS5 Pro earns its premium on a 4K TV with games made for it; for everyone else a PS5 Slim plays the same games for less, and a refurbished console is not always the cheaper one. - [Where to buy a refurbished iPhone in the UK](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/where-to-buy-a-refurbished-iphone-in-the-uk): Buy from a seller that puts a year of cover on the listing, choose a model that will keep getting updates, and compare the same iPhone and storage across sellers on the day, because the cheapest listing moves more than the sellers do. - [Do Currys price match Argos, Amazon or John Lewis?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/do-currys-price-match-argos-amazon-or-john-lewis): Yes: Currys matches Argos, Amazon and John Lewis, online or in store, before you buy or up to seven days after. Claims fail when the cheaper price comes from a marketplace seller, a membership deal or an item that is out of stock. - [Refurbished vs second hand: what UK sellers actually mean](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-vs-second-hand-what-uk-sellers-actually-mean): Refurbished means a business tested and graded the phone and stands behind it with a warranty; second hand means you are buying its condition as described, often from a private seller with far fewer rights. The gap between the two prices is what that difference costs. - [musicMagpie or Back Market: which is better for phones?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/back-market-vs-musicmagpie-grades-warranties-and-prices-compared): Both give you a year of warranty; the real differences are who did the work, how long you have to change your mind, and what the grade words mean, and those decide which shop suits you more than any single price does. - [iPhone 16 vs iPhone 16e: which is cheaper to own?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/iphone-16-vs-iphone-16e-which-is-cheaper-to-own): The iPhone 16e is the cheaper phone to buy new, but a refurbished iPhone 16 often lands close to a new 16e, and that is the comparison worth making before you decide. - [Currys vs Argos: which is cheaper for tech?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/is-currys-or-argos-cheaper): Neither shop is reliably cheaper, but only one of them will match a lower price you show it, and that asymmetry is worth more than any single week's discount. - [When the cheapest price is not the product](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/when-the-cheapest-price-is-not-the-product): The lowest number on a comparison page is worth two seconds of scepticism, because a surprising amount of the time it belongs to a case, a spare part, or a monthly contract rather than the product. - [How OwlyFinds compares prices](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/how-owlyfinds-compares-prices): We read the page you paste, work out exactly which product it is, check the UK retailers live, and refuse to publish a price we cannot tie to the same variant. - [New vs refurbished: when is the saving worth it?](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/new-vs-refurbished-when-is-the-saving-worth-it): The refurbished price is only a bargain once you have compared the same phone, with the same storage, and priced in the cover you are giving up. - [Refurbished phone grades explained: Grade A, B and C (UK)](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/blog/refurbished-phone-grades-explained): A grade, whether a letter or a word, describes how a refurbished phone looks, not how well it works, and every seller uses its own vocabulary. ## Optional - [Affiliate disclosure](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/affiliate-disclosure): which links pay us and which do not - [Privacy](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/privacy) - [Terms](https://www.owlyfinds.co.uk/terms)
